How to check cursor version

Hello guys, I’ve just downloaded and installed cursor version 1.1 from cursor’s website.

But then when I run cursor -v command, it shows that I’m using version 0.48.9.

Is the displayed version on cursor’s website (v1.1) different with the version that is shown from cursor -v command?

Hey, you can check the Cursor version by going to the Help -> About menu.

@Ridza_Kalimanto please check if you have more than one version installed or if the commandline tool (cursor) is linked to another version. That the most likely cause of such an issue since cursor has same version in CLI and in the GUI.

Hello, thank you for your reply @ deanrie. Help → About menu also shows that I am on version 0.48.9. But it has (user setup) on its right, not sure what that means though

I’ve just checked the installed apps on windows setting, and it shows that my installed cursor is version is 1.1.3, but as I have mentioned in the reply for @deanrie , help -> about shows version 0.48.9 as well. Does that mean I have the correct version installed, but for some reason, my laptop is still using version 0.48.9?

Can it be that one is installed as user and one as admin?
