Hey, this isn’t a bug. The UI language changes via a built-in command, and what you already did (install the pack + restart) is generally the right approach.

Easiest way:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+P then run Configure Display Language
  • Pick Russian (ru) Cursor will offer to install the pack if it’s not installed yet
  • Fully restart Cursor. Close all windows, then open it again

Important expectation: the language pack only translates the editor UI (menus, settings, panels, stuff inherited from VS Code). Cursor’s own screens like the Settings or account page and the Agent or Chat window will mostly stay in English for now. That’s not broken. Full localization is planned, but there’s no ETA yet.

Also, the 1.125.0 version in your post is the VS Code base version, not Cursor. You can check the Cursor version in Help > About. Let me know if the language still doesn’t switch after a full restart.
