How to set cursor setting language to chinese

I have installed the ‘Chinese language’ extension，but ‘cursor setting’ is still displayed in English

Hey, thanks for the request. Everything here is working as intended, nothing is broken.

VS Code language packs, including Chinese, only translate the parts of the UI that Cursor inherited from VS Code, like menus, panels, and standard settings. To apply it:

  • Command Palette Cmd+Shift+P or Ctrl+Shift+P then Configure Display Language
  • Select 中文(简体)
  • Fully restart Cursor

But the Cursor Settings pane, the Agent and Chat windows, and the account page are Cursor-specific screens, and they’re currently only available in English. No language pack will translate those yet, so this is a limitation, not an issue with your setup.
