I hope Cursor can support native Simplified Chinese for the whole application UI.
Currently we can only import VS Code language package, which leads to half-Chinese and half-English interface.
All Cursor exclusive panels like Agent sidebar and Composer are hardcoded English.
A large amount of developers from Chinese-speaking regions use Cursor. Complete Chinese localization will greatly improve user experience.
Hey, thanks for the feature request. This is a real limitation. The VS Code language pack only translates the classic editor chrome, but Cursor-specific panels like the Agent sidebar, Composer, and Settings are currently hardcoded in English, so you end up with a mixed UI.
We don’t have full native UI localization yet, and I can’t share a timeline. We’re tracking demand for this, and Chinese support is one of the most common requests.
