I can’t find gemini 2.5pro thinking in cursor 0.50. How can I use this model in 0.50? I was able to use gemini 2.5pro thinking and claude 3.7 sonnect thinking in 0.49.
Hey, the brain icon in the model’s name means it’s a thinking model.
Gemini 2.5 Pro has thinking built in like o4-mini, so you do not need to use a specific thinking model as the model will auto-between thinking and non-thinking as it sees appropriate.

But in Cursor thinking still does not work.. can we please fix this so Grok-3-Beta is no longer being restricted like the model page states it does.
It’s what users need and you advertise but isn’t implemented for some reason.

Gemini 2.5 pro is not thinking after first response of a chat/conversation. Can you check it out?
@mading0817 select gemini-2.5-pro model in the model selection, it has the brain icon for thinking.
Then you will see the thinking in the response part. This was a screenshot on an existing chat, so I didnt start new chat.

Hey, could you share the request ID? For this, you need to disable privacy mode if it’s enabled, then reproduce the issue when it happens again and copy the ID.

The first response has Thought for 10 seconds.
The second response did not have thought
