hi @wiltonlazary and thank you for the post.
We may need additional information to understand what is happening and to be able to reproduce it:
- Check System Monitor for how much memory and CPU Cursor processes consume
- Open Help > Open Process Explorer to see which parts of the IDE consume most memory or CPU
- Check Command Pallette > Logs and share logs that relate to the crash
- Does the same occur when you open an empty project?
- Does it also occur when you start Cursor with a custom config folder (ensures that no extension or setting causes issues)
- Are you using NVIDIA graphic cards with custom driver?
