Rules Are Being Ignored
I set a rule for the AI to introduce itself at the start of every response—clear and simple. But the AI completely ignores it. Even after the rule was added, the responses just don’t follow it, making the rules feel kind of pointless.

Unclear Model Switching
Cursor switches between AI models (like GPT-3.5 and Claude) without making it obvious to the user which one is being used. The problem? Output quality varies a lot between models, and you’re left guessing what’s running behind the scenes. It’s confusing and makes the experience unreliable.

What if you add a control phrase at the start of your rules? For example, “Yes, sir.”

It started working out of the blue. Maybe app restart helped.

Now I removed these instruction and AI still following it. Apparently your app updates the rules at some event.
