I’ve been using Cursor for the past couple of days and I’m certain I was able to move the position of the devtools dock to the bottom the same as in Chrome.
It updated today to 2.4.21 but I’m unable to find any settings to change the dock position and it’s locked to the right side. Usually in the 3 dots on the right?

I spent more time than I’d like to admit debugging the DevTools under Help > Toggle Developer Tools!
You’re not going crazy – up until 2.3 this worked in Cursor’s browser! I’ll ping the team on this and see what happened.
Would love to see this restored as well. Docking the devtools at the bottom is especially handy when working on mobile views in a narrow browser tab.
I’m currently using a separate window on the side as workaround, but this does not offer the flexibility of a browser native to the Cursor window.

I have a bit more info. In version 2.4, Cursor transitioned from BrowserWindow to , which does not currently support this functionality.
This is not a bug, but rather a known limitation at this time. We will continue to monitor feedback and assess the feasibility of restoring this feature.
