In-line chat missing models under model selection

In-line chat not listing all models available.

When using CTRL-K for a quick edit, the inline chat is missing a large number of models.
Right now all i see is:

  • Sonnet 3.5 and 4
  • GPT 4o

In the chat window i have access to all the expected models (eg. GPT 5)

Steps to Reproduce

Press CTRL+K after selecting some code to bring up the in-line chat.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. In the inline chat, only non‑reasoning models are available.

Do you know if this will change? Currently GitHub copilot allows reasoning models in the in line

I don’t have that info yet.
