Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report. I see the screenshot with “Local network access denied” and it looks like the built-in Browser is blocking access to the local network on macOS.

This is the first report we’ve seen of this issue. To dig in, we need a bit more info:

  • What exact URL or address are you trying to open? (like localhost:3000, or another IP on your local network?)
  • Does the same page open fine in Chrome or Safari?
  • Does it happen every time you try to access local resources?

As a temporary workaround, you can:

  • Use an external browser instead of the built-in Browser
  • Or set localhost links to open in an external browser via workbench.externalBrowser in Settings

Once I have those details, I’ll pass them to the team to investigate further.

Hi Dean, complex setup to reproduce, but need to but able to change the per page settings. Didn’t find a way in Cursor to access them. Screenshot form Chrome:
