Inability to copy text from the Agent's response

It is impossible to copy part of the text from the Agent’s response

Steps to Reproduce

1. Wait for a response
2. Select the text with the mouse
3. Try to Ctrl+C
4. Try to Ctr+V

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Hey, thanks for the report. There’s a known issue with copying text from some UI components in Cursor 2.0, especially in Plan mode (it’s being tracked).

To help diagnose, please clarify:

• Where does it happen? Are you using the Agent in the sidebar or opening it as an Agents Window?
• Does it work in Ask mode? Can you copy from regular Chat/Ask responses, or is it only broken in Agent mode?
• Screenshot: could you share what you see when you try to select text?

Also, please test with extensions disabled to rule out conflicts: cursor --disable-extensions.

Let me know what you find.

• Agent mode; It seems that the bug is not always active.
• I just select the text and do Ctrl+C; nothing special
• “Also, please test (…)” I’m too lazy

Seeing this same behaviour in both sidebar and agent mode on MacOS. Clicking the copy to clipboard button works but highlighting and copy does not. Cheers.
