Could you try downloading it again? We just switched the CDN that serves the Anysphere extensions, which should hopefully make the download faster and more reliable.
When i log in my remote computer by ssh,i have to reinstall my extension.it is a problem.
Same thing here. Well, similar, when i click on the pyton extension to be installed on remote it just hangs forever. I only managed to install gitlens (took ages) and pyright.

Follow up, So i called AI chat in Cursor, described the problem (vscode works and cursor doesn’t). It took a while but finally it produced a script that installs extensions from CLI, Gui installation is still hangs. There was also suggestion about SSL certs problem but fix for that didn’t work. Still it may be worth checking in corporate networks.
