iOS Dynamic Island Live Activity overlaps status bar (clock + signal/battery)

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor for iOS

Describe the Bug

The Cursor Agents Live Activity in the Dynamic Island expands too wide and overlaps the system status bar. On the right it covers the clock; on the left it covers cellular/Wi‑Fi and battery. The island content itself (duration + Cursor logo) is fine — the problem is the size/position colliding with status-bar items.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run an agent so a Cursor Live Activity appears in the Dynamic Island.
  2. Look at the top of the screen (home / lock / another app).
  3. Notice the island overlapping the clock (right) and signal/battery icons (left).

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Netanel, thanks for the report and the screenshot. The island shouldn’t grow wide enough to cover your clock and battery, and it’s not caused by anything in your setup. I’ve passed this along to the team, including that your iPhone is set to Hebrew in case that’s related.

Could you share a couple of quick details to help us enhance the report?

  1. Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings > General > About)
  2. Whether the island is this wide as soon as an agent starts, or only after it’s been running for a while

In the meantime, you can swipe left or right on the Dynamic Island to minimize the Live Activity, or turn it off under Settings > Apps > Cursor > Live Activities.

I’ll post here when there’s an update.

Hi,

  1. iPhone 17 pro max, iOS 27
  2. As soon as the agent start running

Thank you!
