Is 3.5-sonnet-20241022 worse?

i only exclusively use composer and i just switched to 3.5-sonnet-20241022 from normal 3.5-sonnet and it seems significantly worse? bad code generation and consistently getting stuck in infinite loops

is it just me? what am i doing wrong?

The model claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022 points to claude-3.5-sonnet, so it’s the same model.

wow i cant believe it was placebo. i suspected exactly that so i did 20 blind test runs with a help from a friend and got 16/20 right. crazy

nonetheless both point to the 20241022 version and not the old(er) one right?
