Is Anyone Else Finding Cursor Incredibly Slow Lately?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Cursor for a while now, I’m finding the performance to be a real deal-breaker lately. I’m running into situations where a simple action, like asking for a translation of a block of code or text, takes upwards of 30 seconds to complete.

This isn’t a one-off issue. It’s becoming a regular occurrence, and it’s incredibly disruptive to my workflow. The constant waiting makes the whole experience feel laggy and frustrating.

I’m curious if this is a shared experience or if I’m an outlier. Are any of you noticing significant delays in getting responses from Cursor, especially for what should be quick tasks? I’d love to hear if you’ve found any workarounds or if this is just the current state of things.

its your model, migrate to sonnet 3-7 or 4.0 and be happy!

your context window also helps on that, remember closing big threads of conversation!

also, the agent can open a lot of tabs, remember to close them, and close the terminals opened to testing.
