Describe the Bug
It’s really slow at the moment, you ask a question, the cursor thinks and thinks and then you’re thrown back to the question without the cursor having done anything, I really hope we don’t pay for this??
Steps to Reproduce
I can ask a new question, the result is the same.
Expected Behavior
that cursor came up with an answer
Operating System
Windows 10/11
Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)
I have started a new composer session, here composer came up and apologized for not responding and being sluggish, I am using claude 3.5 sonnet, so right now it works again.
I like cursor but there are many considerations you have to take (programming in Python) to make sure it doesn’t go wrong, even though I have a .cursorrules file I don’t think it will be fully as it should be and here I think that cursor suddenly goes its own way.
It’s as if cursor sometimes just follows syntax from W3 Schools instead of thinking about what it does, for example if you make a loop within a loop you don’t create a counter with the same name, but cursor does!!
It’s been very slow for me as well these past two or three days. You start typing in the composer window and have to wait up to 20 seconds sometimes before anything appears. It remembers everything you typed, but if you’ve made a typo, it’s slow trying to fix them as well. (Version: 0.44.9) It gets frustrating after a while.
