Is Cursor essentially unusable for anyone else? Freezing, 5-10+ minute requests,

Occasionally, I get a fast response, but the majority of the time it hangs forever. If I restart, I generally get a quick response, again, but then it soon just stalls and does nothing.

I’ve disabled every extension, and that seems to have no bearing.

If you’re working on a large project, I recommend using models with a longer context window.
Also, try reinstalling Cursor by following these instructions:

Yep I upgraded to v3 and latest release and it starts scanning files and then hangs - no matter the repo size, a brand new empty repo or large repo - I have to stop the request.

having the same issue using wsl
