Is Cursor server down? Getting "Model not available" and "Internal Error"

Hi guys, is Cursor down right now? I suddenly cannot use it.

When I try to use the model or send a message, I keep getting the following errors:

  1. “Model not available - Anthropic has removed access to this model for all customers.”

  2. “Internal Error - An unexpected error occurred on our servers.”

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey there @lei_jack

No widespread reports of Model issues!

Access to Fable 5 was removed by Anthropic late last week, so this one is expected.

Are you facing issues on other models as well?

Same here, suddenly stopped working for me too and I’m getting the exact same message. Tried restarting and everything, but nothing works. “We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment.”

It looks like both of you have been able to make agent requests today, so I hope that means it’s cleared up!
