Comprehensive guide to Cursor's models: features, pricing, context windows, and hosting details for Chat and CMD+K
personally i found this model very capable.
i dislike “thinking” models as sometimes it give BS after “thinking”.
this model once is the king in coding (althought dont last long and over took by geminie 2.5 pro)
FREE and FOSS, means it’s by the people, for the people, from the people.
so, it is free to use it in cursor?
thanks
no firm answer from another thread.
in cursor, the below three models are the same?
deepseek-v3
deepseek-v3-0324
deepseek-v3.1
Hey, thanks for the report. We’ll update the model list soon, and yes, this model is currently free.

No, I mean when you use DS it doesn’t support Codebase, in fact from what I’ve tried it doesn’t support anything except Claude. This makes other models meaningless in cursor, although they provide a lot of models, but only Claude can really play a role.

not sure about codebase.
yet today gemini 2.5 pro cant help upload my repo to github but c3.7 could.
i agree with you.
use claude; and if really it didn’t work, switch to gemini 2.5 pro for the code, and then switch back to claude.
sigh
