I am using the standard version since forever, but today i have realized that there is another version on the select models tab with a little brain icon next to it. It appears that the standard version already has reasoning. Is there any difference?

yes, i know. but that seems to have changed on the latest update. the default was already reasoning, now i had to pick the reasoning from the list of models.
@matgenehr default is not reasoning anymore. Sonnet 4 is good without reasoning and does not improve a lot with reasoning.
You can enable the reasoning version if you prefer.
