Issue: Norton Antivirus Blocking Remote - SSH (from Anysphere) Extension Updates Above Version 1.04 on Windows 11

OS: Windows 11 Problem:
When trying to update an extension to version 1.09 or higher, Norton Antivirus prevents the process, marking a file named something like CURSOR_REMOTE_INSTALL_83088.SH as malicious (IDP.Generic signature) and blocking the execution of C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe. Local Installation: The extension installs successfully on the local machine.

Remote Connection Issue:
The problem occurs specifically when connecting to a remote UNIX server, causing the file to be blocked and the connection process to enter an endless reboot loop.
Workaround:
Rolling back to version 1.04 resolves the issue, and everything works fine.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any suggestions for fixing it?

Can you disable the antivirus for cursor?
