Issue with Cursor Stuck at "Downloading VS Code Server" When Connecting to Offline SSH Server

Hi Cursor Team,

I noticed that when trying to connect to an internal SSH server that is offline, Cursor gets stuck at the “Downloading VS Code Server” stage.

However, when using Visual Studio Code to connect to the same server under the same conditions, it does not appear to get stuck at this step.

cursor version 0.50.7
Could you please look into this behavior? @deanrie

Hi! If the server is offline then it wouldn’t be possible to connect to it. Could you turn it on first? Might need to adjust the IP if it is dynamically assigned.
