Could you try switching to the Anysphere remote extension?

You mean which one?

I tried to go back from version 0.50 to version 0.48, and after loading for more than 30 minutes, I was able to connect successfully. :smiling_face_with_tear:

We have new remote extensions – see New In-house Extensions (C++, C#, SSH, DevContainers, WSL, Python). They should come up if you search for “SSH”, “Remote Containers”, or “WSL” – depending on which remote you’re using. But anyways, if it’s working, probably best to leave it as is!

Thank you for your guidance!

Also, there is warning that “You are about to connect to a version of OS that is not supported by Cursor.” Will this affect operation?

If it works, you can ignore that warning – we removed that popup in the next Cursor update.

Thanks, keep it up!

In my case, Anysphere’s extension does not work (cursor-server won’t download). Switching to MS’s ssh-remote solves this issue.

Hi @zcorn2017, could you share more about the issue that you’re running into? If you have logs for the “Remote - SSH” output window on the Anysphere extension, it’d be very helpful if you could share so we can figure out what’s wrong. Thanks!
