Describe the Bug
After updating to the latest version of Cursor (v0.44.3), I have encountered the following issues and would appreciate assistance in resolving them:
Unwanted assistant_snippet_.txt Files Added to the Project: After the update, Cursor automatically generates and adds multiple assistant_snippet_.txt files in my project directory. These files are not created manually by me, and I am unclear on their purpose. This has cluttered the project directory and could lead to issues with version control.
Terminal Output Length Limitation: When working in the terminal, any output that is longer than a certain length gets truncated, which severely affects debugging and viewing complete logs. Moreover, this issue persists even when I try to revert to a previous version of Cursor, making it difficult to work with long outputs.
Change in Terminal Behavior Compared to Previous Versions: In previous versions of Cursor, even lengthy terminal outputs would display in full without truncation. However, in the current version, terminal output is limited, and the system suggests opening a new dialog for long texts. This behavior deviates significantly from the previous experience and disrupts my workflow.
Steps to Reproduce
Use Thinking_Claude protocal and ask the agent to analyse something.
Expected Behavior
Remove or provide configuration options to control the automatic generation of assistant_snippet_*.txt files.
Restore full terminal output display for long texts, ensuring users can view complete output without truncation.
Ensure that reverting to a previous version properly restores the original terminal behavior.T
Operating System
