I often encounter this error when deal with large code file: Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN.
I did an experiment today. When this symbol appears, if the file has not been generated, an error will be reported after 30 seconds. So I think Cursor implements a 30s timeout logic.
Some updates: 0.50.7 No more errors due to timeout, but it will always get stuck at generating without any response.
Hi, could you please fill in a full bug report with details so the Cursor team can analyse the issue and see what is causing it?
Also add the Request ID where this issue occurs (make sure to temporarily disable privacy for that one request so the Cursor team can see the details of the process)
As mentioned in the above update, now Cursor will not report an error, so it cannot get the request id and is stuck in generating code. Here are some console errors, maybe they can help
