After experimenting with this Notebook feature, I believe Cursor could enhance automation even further by enabling the automatic execution and updating of notebooks. This would allow data scientists to perform automated data analysis directly within Cursor. Currently, I am able to achieve this functionality using MCP servers. Here’s a demo:
