Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known focus management issue. The browserViewFocused flag gets stuck on true after interacting with the AI chat or composer, which blocks keyboard input in the editor.
Your guess is right. The bug often gets triggered after using AI Chat.
Workarounds:
- Press
EscapeorCtrl+1. This should bring focus back to the editor. - If that doesn’t help:
Ctrl+Shift+P> Developer: Reload Window

Next time it happens, open the console (Ctrl+Shift+P > Developer: Toggle Developer Tools) and look for a line like:
