Describe the Bug
When I use Ctrl+Shift+S Cursor will open a new search bar on the left side instead of performing the “Save As…” function.
I’m filing it as a bug, given that is how I perceive it in terms of UX.
I find it extremely annoying that a major shortcut shared across all IDEs is suddenly overwritten by a new feature without any warning or opt-in.
I would like to ask:
- How can I find and disable the keybinding? In my short search I could not find it in the existing shortcuts
- Would it be possible that Cursor asks the user before changing keybindings? E.g. via an opt-in pop-up or similar
Steps to Reproduce
Open any file > Ctrl+Shift+S
You will see a new bar on the left instead of the option to save as
Expected Behavior
Simply save as instead of the new behavior
