When I use chat I have to use my mouse to click the “Apply” button above a code suggestion. I’d love to be able to do that with a keyboard shortcut.
Yes please. Using the mouse for this slows down making the changes.
The problem here might be that sometimes more than one file is modified, so which ‘Apply’ should it take using such a shortcut… that’s a challenge for the designers.
But if a shortcut only works when there is a single change, that would already help a lot !!
I often have several files generated or files to modify, from a single Chat prompt.
I know it is good to review the code generated by Chat.
But I usually want to just move to the next Apply or the next Bash to run, or answer the next question Chat has.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to move the Chat window directly to that Next action point? Instead of a gazillion mouse wheel scrolls?
Is there a keyboard shortcut to go up to a previous action point or my prompt? Without having to mouse-wheel up (page up/down doesn’t work) to hunt for it?
I don’t think an “Apply All” would work well, as there are currently frequent problems with Apply. Most often the code simply doesn’t get pasted into the file, so I have to Reject and click Apply again.
Any updates to this?
The Composer is able to apply its suggestions to your files straight away, but you currently still have to accept all the changes the AI has made, to avoid any accidental edits the AI made you don’t actually want.
