Lack of support for editing issues in the editor.

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Unlike in VSCode, with Cursor I am not able to edit my issues and pull requests in the editor. When I click on them, I cannot see them. This works perfectly fine in VSCode, so I have to assume this is a bug with Cursor. I would love to hear back from you guys to see if you’re addressing this.

Steps to Reproduce

Go to GitHub, pull requests, and try to click on one of the issues or pull requests to see them in the editor. Doesn’t work.

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Whichever is the latest version of each, I always keep them updated.

hi @Ernie_Maldonado have you tried any GitHub extensions?

There are:

  • GitHub Pull Requests
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitHub Issue Noteboks

Hi. Yeah, Github Pull Requests is the one that allows you in VS Code to see the issues and PRs. I have it installed in both VS Code and Cursor. In Cursor the issues and PRs don’t work in the editor, in VSCode, they do.

I don’t think Cursor is interested in addressing that. Why? No clue, but it’s well documented, I just realized after realizing this defect existed.
