1.) I see a few similar posts on here, but not with as much information as this one. They also experience 1/3 of the issues I report here.
2.) I write in LaTeX for most of my day, as I’m a math and physics double major. I split screen with the pdf in Cursor to do this. This worked fine up until a few weeks ago. Now, there are a number of bugs:
2.1.) You can’t zoom into the pdf; it just scrolls it up/down if you try to do this.
2.2.) The pdf simply does not update when you ctrl+s, or even if you explicitly compile the code using the button.
2.3.) The pdf sometimes just doesn’t load up; it will show a white screen regardless of what you do.
3.) You can reproduce this bug by simply trying to compile anything in LaTeX in the Cursor IDE. I’ve tried troubleshooting this already, and the problem doesn’t seem to be on my end (different TeX distros, resetting the computer/app, and trying various other things has not worked).
4.) Screenshots would be irrelevant.
5.) MacOS, 0.44.11
6.) It does stop me from using Cursor. I have switched back to VSCode, but I would really like to go back. The pdf issues make it tedious and annoying to do work in LaTeX, something that doesn’t occur in VSCode for some reason. I would greatly appreciate it if this was fixed.

Hey, we are aware of our PDF viewer not being the most stable, but we are hoping to ship some improvements in future updates!
