Agents can already rename the current chat (cursor-app-control.rename_chat in Glass, cursor-cloud.rename-chat for cloud agents, /rename in the CLI), but there’s no equivalent for the chat’s sidebar icon and color. Today that’s only possible manually by hand via the UI.
Request: add cursor-app-control.change_chat_icon with { icon, colorId }, mirroring rename_chat, and expose it to local agents, cloud agents, and the CLI.
Letting agents set the icon would make the sidebar easier to scan at a glance (e.g. assigning icons by project / subfeature / git PR status, task type, etc.), without stuffing emoji into the chat titles.
