I notice often I improve performance if I manually paste code documentation for libraries used in my code. Especially since these models always lag behind the latest version usage of libraries, it would be AMAZING to see the agent choosing the right times to query the web for relevant documentation.
@Docs
does this already
Isn’t this for custom documentation - like for internal code, not public documentation of open source or publicly documented, well know libraries?
Edit: Oh I see. I hadnt seen the documentation for that feature. Editing the text from “custom documentation” would enable more intuitive understanding of the feature, btw.
No, thats definitely NOT for internal code because this is shared among all Cursor users.
So if you have a library with docu, add the link into that config and it will index it or use the already indexed docu if other users added it.
By indexing the docu on Cursor servers it avoids each user downloading a lot of docu pages from docu servers and overloading them. plus indexing is much more efficient.
“This is shared among all Cursor users.”
Im going to need a lot more docs on this subject.
Can I @ call code from other cursors?

The real issue is where the AI lays in the stack.
Is it my bot, or yours?
May you please actually do an in depth writeup of this… This appears significant knowcraft
If you dont do a writeup on this subject, I immedieatly dis-trust cursor.
