Linux: privacy mode is disabled and can't be enabled upon installation

When installing cursor on Arch -CachyOS system- when you want to enable privacy mode, the continue button doesn’t allow you to continue. You need to disabled it first, and then go to the cursor settings → privacy and enable it. This happened twice. It is also a little bit suspicious but most probably a silly UI problem.

Steps:

  • on linux machine uninstall cursor if you have already installed
  • install cursor or run it for the first time if you are using an AppImage
  • go to the settings and try to enable privacy mode
  • the continue button should not allow you to continue to the next step

Expected behaviour:

  • to be able to enable privacy mode when first installing cursor

OS: Cachy OS
Cursor Version: latest
