Describe the Bug
Hello Cursor Support Team,
I’m currently facing a critical issue with my project chats. All of my conversations are showing the following message:
“This conversation has corrupted data. You can view and export it, but new messages cannot be sent. Please start a new conversation to continue.”
This is happening across all chats in my project, including ones that were working fine earlier. As a result, I’m unable to continue my work, and several projects are currently halfway completed.
This issue appears to be affecting every conversation, not just a single thread.
Could you please:
Investigate what caused this corruption?
Restore the affected conversations if possible?
Advise on how to prevent this from happening again?
We chose Cursor specifically for its reliability, and we depend heavily on it for our ongoing development work. We are also paying customers, so this situation is particularly concerning as it directly impacts our productivity and deadlines.
This issue appears to be affecting every conversation, not just a single thread.
This is quite urgent as it is impacting my ongoing development work.
Please let me know if you need any additional details (account email, workspace ID, logs, screenshots, etc.).
Thank you for your assistance.
