Cool suggestion. I think I like this idea too, as I’ve definitely had to wait for some long composer responses in the past.

Looking forward to it! Until we have a native solution, I put together a simple extension that provides feedback when Chat / Composer has a change ready to accept: Composer Boop - Visual Studio Marketplace
I couldn’t get access to everything I wanted to do via Code’s extension API, but it’s been working pretty well for me so far.

I’d love for it to go one step further. Could cursor have a config option to hit a webhook when it has either finished, or is waiting for input from me? I can imagine hacking together something that would send a push notification to my phone when it’s time to return to my desk and provide input.
