Make auto think

Yesterday when I used auto it was THINKING. Like it actually was thinking!!! Today It does not. BRING BACK THINKING for auto, or let me choose! The non-thinking version is substantially worse.

Yesterday the ‘thinking’ step in Ask/Auto made it completely unusable for me (30+ second worthless responses to the most basic of questions). Literally did not achieve a single significant production goal for the entire day.

Just tested it for the first time today and with the thinking step gone, it is fast again, though I haven’t yet tested the quality of its responses.

It should be an option for Auto for it to think or not to think. Too many open source models now with thinking to not have a thinking option for auto!

It needs to be an option, if they bring it back. I actually don’t like thinking for a lot of things. I am sure it has its use cases, but for the way I work now, it seems to be a drag without solid benefits for a LOT of tasks, and may often result in more meandering, hallucinating, bulldozing, and other undesirable outcomes.
