Making commit messages is so slow in comparison with 2 days ago, fix it please

Its so slow, it almost take 20-30 seconds for a single file.

For context, it’s slow because its analyzing your changes!

It was already doing the same thing before like in 10 seconds in maximum

I’d say the new method is better at detecting all the changes in more context, but its for sure not worth the time it now takes!

Will revert this shortly, and improve on it again soon!

You mean cursor could generate commit messages? How?

There is a button in the Commit Message box that does this, although it’s pretty fixed in it’s format and method.

We’re hoping to improve this feature soon!
