Not much to add. I click it and sometimes wait a full minute for a message to be generated at the moment. It used to take a few seconds. I find this feature super useful and time-saving but at the moment it’s just an exercise in frustration.
Any word on this @deanrie ? It’s practically unusable for me at the moment. If it’s only an issue affecting me, I’d appreciate any help on how to debug it. My internet connection/speed is fine and all other aspects of Cursor are 100%.
Hey, yes, this issue is affecting many users. I think we’ll fix it in the future.
Every time I submit for the first time, I always get no response, so I will cancel and send it again, and generally I will get an immediate response the second time. But this way, my usage is doubled.
AI Commit Message doesn’t take any of your fast requests I believe, so shouldn’t add to your usage.
We are working to improve the speed and customizability very soon!
