Markdown preview on the side does not interact well

Describe the Bug

When working on a markdown file and viewing a preview on the side at the same time, interacting with the preview tab is very buggy. It does not scroll smoothly and will constantly jump back up on me if I scroll down too much or too quickly.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a markdown file and select the Open Preview to the Side button, then proceed to scroll the preview

Expected Behavior

If the code and preview are side by side, both should scroll smoothly and not jump around.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. Not entirely sure, but it seems the same thing happens in VS Code as well.
