Got updated straight from 0.44.x which was working great → 0.45.4.
Now the composer in “agent” mode is not showing me any diffs in the files that it changes. And the composer no longer shows me the option to go back to a previous checkpoint?
Yeah, Cursor is very strange. Lost 3-4 hours trying to use it. Unusable right now. Lost 12 requests too trying to use it. I’m going to sleep because it’s better to do it for now (sad, but true).
Yes it’s even more broken that it was before. Literally unusable for me.
I’m on windows, a platform that is definitely not tested enough.
Not only I cannot go to previous checkpoint, I simply cannot apply any changes from either the Chat or the Composer. It’s probably related to a bug I filled a month ago which got no response (Duplicate files (context)).
No Apply button and If I click on the code block I got from an LLM, I get:
“The editor could not be opened because the file was not found.”
I can then see that Cursor is not handling the file path correctly. Instead of trying to apply the change for e.g. C:\Repo1\packages\test\file1.py, it will try to apply it to \Repo1\packages\test\file1.py
I also don’t see the rounded rectangle with the added context (files or lines of code) on top of the text area in the Chat/Composer anymore.
