What’s the point of the paid version of Cursor when you already have MCP and the Claude desktop app? I get full context whenever I need it, can handle hundreds/thoundsands of thousands of tokens of input, and it still costs me only $20 a month.
Why would I ever use Cursor again with its 10k context window?
Don’t mention Cline + MCP + the free Gemini key as viable alternatives.
Would be great if you can share more info - like setup or any resources I can do myself. I think might be helpful to a lot of people

i don’t know, what’s the point of people paying $20 a month for Netflix, when they can pay $12 for Disney, different tools for different people, each has its usecase for different users, you can make requests but if they don’t suit you, you can choose not to use it
