Describe the Bug
Hello Cursor team,
I’m running a personal MCP server that auto-updates its tool list every time I add a new tool. The server itself works perfectly—the JSON definition and everything else reload on the fly—but Cursor doesn’t pick up the new tools until I manually toggle MCP off and back on in the settings.
Would it be possible for Cursor to poll the MCP server (or listen for a change event) so newly-added tools appear immediately, without the manual toggle step?
Thanks for the great work!
Steps to Reproduce
Expected: on Cursor start, auto-discover MCP tools
