TLDR: There are a lot more use cases for this, but this is my specific use case, basically a read-only from the main chat to a MCP-specific user interface with read/write permissions with only the tools for that specific MCP in a second window (maybe a bifurcated chat window?)
A way to have 2 or more cursor chat windows open where the first chat does the regular AI chat interface, but the second (or more) has either a chat interface or custom UI for an individual MCP.
For example, I have this anki deck setup to prompt me every so often with a 1/20 chance for review of a card. Instead of having this handled by the Agent, I want this to be handled by the IDE, so that I get reviews every so often of study/review material.
This could be extended such that the 2nd chat can pull information from the main chat so it can add something like Anki Cards to a specified deck with a confirmation dialog going to that deck.
