I got this message

“We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment.
(Request ID: b0925cb0-8405-4699-92ae-3b28f0f3756e)”

Steps to Reproduce

Just tried to use any model and see this error. I can see we have a lot of bug reports like this.

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.7.46
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

Does this stop you from using Cursor

What model are you using? I’m using Sonnet 4.5 and it’s working perfectly.

It worked, I’ve closed all tab and need to create new Agent tab to make this work.

I think this occurs when the STDOUT is full or something of that sort, try to remove printouts to the screen, it helped in my case.
the suggested solution of closing all tabs etc. only works until you fill the STDOUT again.
