Models aren't window-specific

I’ve figured out why my Cursor costs are so high!

:lady_beetle: Changing the model in one Cursor window also changes it in the other.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button:

  1. Open a project
  2. Open another project (or worktree) in another Cursor window, and set the model in that window to something else
  3. Check the model in the first window (to see it has changed)

:laptop: Linux Mint, Cursor 48.8

:prohibited: sigh No, of course this doesn’t stop me from using Cursor

I was planning (expensive model) in one window while coding (cheap model) in the other. NOT GREAT.
