Has anybody a method to add Kimi K2.5 to cursor?
I tried it and reached nowhere.
Does cursor has to offically add this or we can do it another way?

right now the only practical way to add Kimi K2.5 into Cursor is through OpenRouter.
There’s no native/official integration for it (neither from Kimi nor Cursor), so OpenRouter is basically your bridge.
You just set it up like any other OpenAI-compatible model: drop in your OpenRouter API key and base URL in Cursor’s custom model settings.
why is it so hard to add this?
