When I was using VS Code, I frequently utilized floating tabs on my second and third monitors because duplicating the workspace wasn’t as ideal. I’ve noticed that in Cursor, there aren’t any floating tabs, but I can still use duplicate workspaces.
I’m curious—how do you all manage this? Do you use duplicate workspaces as well? Also, does this affect the results when working with chat?
It used to work until yesterday. One could find a way to move a window to another screen and then drag the tabs there. Now it doesn’t. This for me killed Cursor.
As far as I can see, there are only workarounds, but no true multi-monitor option. I’ve managed to get the chat to open in a second window, but then I can’t type anything there. This has already been discussed in the forum.
I really want a multi-monitor setup. If necessary, could you implement something similar to Antigravity, where the editor and agents can run on a seperate monitor if needed?
