Strong support for a native Cursor Android app
I would strongly support this request. I am a long-time, heavy Cursor user and currently subscribe to the $200/month Ultra plan.
Now that Cursor has an iOS app, I hope Android users can receive the same native mobile experience rather than relying only on the web interface or PWA.
The most useful Android features for me would be:
- Starting and monitoring Agent tasks remotely
- Continuing existing Agent conversations across desktop and mobile
- Receiving reliable background notifications when an Agent finishes or needs input
- Reviewing diffs, approving changes, and replying to clarification requests
- Sharing files, screenshots, links, and prompts directly from Android
- Synchronizing Agent status and conversation history in real time
The current web/PWA option is useful as a temporary solution, but a native Android app would provide more reliable notifications, background behavior, file sharing, deep links, and a much smoother mobile experience.
I hope Android support can be added to the roadmap, especially as many professional and international users primarily use Android devices.
