The motivation behind this is that Claude offers native mobiles apps for Android and IOS devices for some time and I couldn’t find Cursor equivalent from Play/App Store.
I have to use Cursor Web browser instead to run my agentic prompts on the go.
I’m eager to hear back from the Cursor team on this.
Hey, thanks for the feature request and good news, the native Cursor app for iOS is already out in public beta.
From your phone you can start and supervise agents, track progress via notifications and Live Activities, view screenshots, logs, and diffs, and even remotely control Cursor desktop sessions. It’s basically a companion for Cloud Agents, not a full mobile IDE. The rollout is regional, so if you don’t see it in the App Store yet, it should show up soon.
There’s no Android version yet, but I’ve noted the interest. If anything changes on Android, I’ll let you know.
@Jason_Ritchey@Andy_Wong The iOS app is still in a very early, limited-access beta, so you won’t see it in the regular App Store search yet. Beta access is shared through official Cursor announcements, so it’s worth keeping an eye on those. A wider App Store rollout will come later, and the listing should show up in Oceania and the US as it rolls out.
Meanwhile, I used Cursor mobile while having my coffee on the go this morning. I noticed I can’t press the enter button to execute my prompt on my google chrome. It looks as if though my prompt text has overlapped over the enter button hence my tap didn’t get register.
This was working few days back. Not sure why it’s not working today. Just observing.
Glad you made it to the app. On the second issue, I can see in your screenshot that the prompt text in the composer overlaps the bottom bar with the send button, so tapping send doesn’t work. This is separate from the iOS app, it’s a bug in Cursor Web in a mobile browser.
To debug it, can you share a couple things:
your iOS version and Chrome version
does it happen only when the prompt is long or multi-line, or right away
does it reproduce in Safari on the same phone
As a workaround, you can hit a line break on the keyboard, or temporarily switch to Safari to send the prompt. Send the details above and I’ll take a deeper look.
Actually I’ve actually moved on using the cursor web browser now that the cursor mobile app has arrived in Oceania some time ago. I’ve been actively using it since then - and I love it!
In saying that, I check the cursor web browser on latest chrome version. I wrote a long message in one chat. I can no longer reproduce the overlap issues (see attached). Where it’s multi-line or long prompt, the end result is the same.
Glad the app’s working well for you, and thanks for the update. The fact that the overlap no longer happens on either long or multi-line prompts is really helpful, it means the issue is gone. From the screenshot, the composer and the send button aren’t overlapping anymore, so everything looks clean there.
@Richard_de_Vos on Android: there isn’t a separate app yet, and I can’t share an exact date. Noted the interest. If there’s any news about Android or a beta tester sign-up, I’ll post it in this thread.
